A warm foyer invites guests to enter and stay a while in this rustic, timbered lodge.
The great room, a common space for B & B guests, is comfortable and inviting whether the guests choose to visit, watch television, grab a great book from the library corner, enjoy the view or cozy up to a warm fire.
Focusing on the heritage theme, the common areas feature items and artifacts significant to Red Oak and Montgomery County’s heritage. The Bed and Breakfast sleeping rooms also reflect the heritage theme. Two of the rooms have a queen size bed and share a full bath. Guests can choose the Teresa’s Heritage Room or the Pete’s Heritage Room as they wish.
The Lodge also offers a larger space for those guests or families needing a bit more room. The Heritage Lodge Military Heritage Suite is a quiet, private retreat with an in-suite bath, a queen size bed and a full-size bed with a twin trundle. The décor in this room highlights the strong military heritage of Montgomery County as well as Pete’s family.
Each bedroom is equipped with satellite television, Wi-Fi, a mini refrigerator stocked with bottled water, a hair dryer and spacious closets. An adjacent coffee nook provides Heritage Lodge guests with a location to prepare coffee or tea whenever they wish and this area is also designed to be a place to gather, be it in the early morning or as the day winds to a close.
The Pete and Teresa Heritage rooms are currently available for $100 per day plus tax.
The Military Heritage Room starts at $120 per day plus tax.

The Lodge offers plenty of cozy areas to relax, curl up with a good book or have a nice chat.
The Teresa Heritage Room displays photos of Teresa’s family, going back six generations and offers a queen size bed, refrigerator and a large closet.
The Pete Heritage Room displays photos of Pete’s ancestors and features a queen size bed, refrigerator and a large closet.
The Military Heritage Room emphasizes the strong military tradition of Montgomery County, as well as three generations of military service of the Peterson family. This grand suite lends itself well to families and features a queen bed, and a full-size bed with a twin trundle, as well as a private bath, large closet and refrigerator.
